22 Sep Holywell Stew
As part of FuSIon Fest, the Holywell Trust will be hosting a special edition of Holywell Stew, taking place on October 19th at Holywell Divercity Partnership, kicking off at 7pm.
Holywell STEW is a project of Holywell Trust to encourage local community activity and philanthropy in Derry/Londonderry. Based on the Detroit Soup model, Organisations will have the opportunity to pitch for small financial support (approximately £500) for a project to support local people. Every organisation that takes part in the programme will receive support and training on preparing and delivering their pitch.
On the night hear from 4 community initiatives hoping to support the local community. We’re delighted that this STEW event will be part of #FusionFest – the Social Innovation Festival being held in Derry/Londonderry and Belfast on 19th & 20th October.
This project is about local people helping each other. The available funds are the resources collected at the door.
We’d love to see you at the Holywell STEW community dinners. Tickets cost £10 each (which is used as the prize for the successful project) and spaces are limited.
Tickets can be purchased from the reception at HOLYWELL – DiverseCity Community Partnership building in Bishop Street or online. Feel free to bring a bottle of refreshment of your choice.
The Holywell STEW events are held at our shared community building, HOLYWELL – DiverseCity Community Partnership, 8-14 Bishop Street. We look forward to welcoming you!
Holywell STEW is supported by the Ireland Funds. Fusion Fest is brought to you by Social Innovation NI in association with the Building Change Trust, supported by the Department for Communities and managed by Innovate-NI.
